The duo that brought you Death Note has teamed up again in an almost autobiographical work about two young manga creators. Takagi is an aspiring author that only needs an artist to bring his work to life. He finds that artist in classmate Mashiro. Mashiro is undoubtedly talented, but is reluctant because his uncle was a mangaka and it led him to a fatal end. He quickly changes his mind when his long-time crush Miho Azuki tells him that she wants to become a voice actress. Together, the three struggle to realize their dreams.
